With Stage 1 running on Solana, you now have the tools to build, personalize, and apply token-gating to your AI agents. This moves towards creating specialized AI assistants that offer distinct utility and reflect Web3 principles of ownership.
What Can You Do?
xAgent Stage 1 provides the foundational tools to:
Create Unique AI Personalities: Design agents for specific tasks – from customer support bots and community guides to specialized information providers or even creative collaborators.
Customize Prompts & Knowledge: Define exactly how your agent should behave and what information it should draw upon (future stages will expand knowledge sources significantly!).

Link ANY Solana SPL Token: This is where the magic happens! You can link any SPL token (your project’s native token, a community token, etc.) to your agent.
Enable Token-Gated Access: Once linked, only holders of that specific token can interact with your AI agent. This unlocks powerful use cases for communities, DAOs, and creators. Imagine exclusive support bots, members-only information portals, or AI tutors accessible only via an educational token!
Getting Started: Your Step-by-Step Guide
We’ve designed Stage 1 to be incredibly user-friendly, even if you’re new to Web3:
Step 1: Head over to app.xhashtag.ai. No complex setup needed – simply log in using your existing Google or Twitter account. We built this for everyone!
Step 2: You’re in! Once logged in, you can connect your preferred Solana wallet (like Phantom, Solflare, OKX Wallet etc.). This links your Web3 identity to your xAgent creations.
Step3 : Now you can either select an existing agent to interact with or, more excitingly, click “+ New Agent” to start building your own from scratch.
Step4: Give your agent a name, define its purpose and personality through the description and prompt, select categories, and configure its initial settings. Click “Link Agent Token.” to link a token to this agent.
Step 5: Paste the SPL token address you want to gate access with, and confirm the details (Token Name/Symbol should auto-fill). This token acts as the digital key for users to interact with your agent.
Step6: Success! You’ll now see the linked SPL token address and balance requirement displayed under your agent’s name. Your agent is officially token-gated!
Step 7: Your unique, token-gated AI agent is ready! You can share it directly using its unique URL (found in your browser’s address bar when viewing the agent) or users can search for it within the xHashtag xAgent app.
